The story revolves around four childhood best friends who live in the same neighbourhood. Their friendship is tested as they enter a new phase of life. They try to be with each other while maintaining their separate relationships. The series focuses on the problems of teenagers who enter different phases of their lives and how they cope with different changes. It is one of the English teen comedy series on Netflix which has four seasons.
8: How to Sell Drugs Online (2019):
It is one of the English dark comedy series which is based on actual events. The series is originally in German and is about a high school nerd Moritz. Moritz is outcasted in school and no one actually cares about him. He wants to be with his ex-friend so without considering the consequences, he along with his friends starts selling drugs online. The news reaches the drug trafficking world and they all are stuck in a vicious cycle. The main character of the real event (as it is based on a real event) which happened in a popular state of Germany sentenced to seven years in Jail.
7: Never Have I Ever (2020):
It is one of the romance English teen comedy series and is about an Indian-American student Devi. The story is about her love life which is totally opposed by her family. Her family wants her to do an arranged marriage. She is stuck in a love triangle where she is actually dating two boys at the same time. The story is about her relationship with her family and friends and how she copes with school stress. This English teen comedy series on Netflix has three seasons.
6: Sex Education (2019):
The series starts with the life of Otis who does not feel comfortable with sex or talking about it and his mother who is a sex therapist is worried about his sex life. Otis soon gets popular in the school after he finds out that he can actually good at solving people’s relationship problems. Earlier no body ever noticed Otis but gradually even the popular students start coming to him with their problems. Sex Education is one of the popular English teen comedy series on Netflix and has multiple actors playing vital roles. It has three seasons.
5: The End of F**king World (2017):
This is one of the popular English dark comedy series which has two seasons. The series is about two teenagers who start a journey together. However, we cannot consider them normal humans like others. Alex believes he is a psychopath and he actually acts like a psychopath. Alyssa faces domestic abuse and she wants to escape from it. She joins hands with Alex and runs away from home. Their journey is not smooth. The series can still have more seasons and it is an interesting watch. Alex Lawther and Jessica Barden played the lead roles in The End of the F**king World.
4: Heartbreak High (2022):
It is one of the English teen comedy series which focuses on friendship, relationships, sex education and the consequences of unprotected sex. The story revolves around two female best friends Amerie and Harper. Harper suddenly cut her ties with her childhood best friend Amerie who has no idea about the reason. There is chaos in the school after the administration finds out a map which describes the detail of every student’s relationship and their sexual encounters with each other.
Though Amerie and Herper both used to add the names. all blame fell on Amerie and students outcast her. Amerie starts having a difficult time at school but she finally gathers courage and lives her life with confidence. The series is actually entertaining and has eight episodes. It is one of the Australian English teen comedy series.
3: Wednesday (2022):
Wednesday is one of the best English teen supernatural comedy dramas on Netflix. It became one of the popular English teen comedy series. It is based on the character Wednesday who belongs to Addams” family. There are already many movies about Addams’ family. It is about a teenage girl who has psychic powers. She enrols in a new high school where students have supernatural abilities.
The series revolves around murders which have a connection to the past. These murders are supposed to be done by a serial killer. Wednesday decides to solve the mystery while her own identity is questioned by the police officers. After the success of season 1 of Wednesday, season 2 is expected soon. Jenna Ortega played the lead role in the Netflix series Wednesday.
2: Iam Not Okay With This (2020):
It is one of the best English dark comedy series on Netflix. The series is about a 17-year-old girl who discovers that she has telekinetic powers. In the beginning, it was not easy for her to accept her new powers and she is also unable to control them. However, at the end of season 1, it seems she knows what she has got. Unfortunately, Netflix cancelled the show (and I hate Netflix for that), though it has potential and is still better than many series on Netflix. ( I personally love the show and wanted to see what will happen next). Season 1 has seven episodes. The cast of Iam Not Okay With This includes Sophia Lillis in the lead role.

1: Ginny and Georgia (2021-):
Ginny and Georgia is one of the best English teen comedy series on Netflix. The series is basically a teen comedy family drama. It has become one of the most popular English series in recent times and people loved its second season even more than the first one. The story is about Georgia who has a mysterious past and has two children from different men. Besides that, she has had lovers and husbands in the past and in the second season going to marry again.
Georgia loves her children and can do anything to protect them. Her daughter Ginny is going through serious psychological issues because of her mother’s past and she also feels unfit in society. The series is completely fun to watch, it is different from many English series (my personal favourite).
