Feroze Khan: 3 dramas that made him popular but his character is always the same

Feroze Khan is a handsome and good Pakistani actor and is quite famous, especially for his roles in the drama serial Khaani, Gul-E-Rana and Ishqiya. However, we have noticed one thing he always portrays the character of an angry young man who makes the girl’s life hell in dramas.

Feroze Khan is definitely one of the finest actors in Pakistan. He is handsome and acts well. However, by looking at his dramas, one can find that most dramas that he has done or gain popularity from, he portrayed the same character.

Gul-E-Rana, Khani and the latest drama Ishqiya portray an angry young man who is unable to control his anger and seek revenge.

Feroze Khan’s character (Adeel) in Gul-E-Rana is a handsome, rich and spoiled young man that every girl falls for him. However Gul-e-Rana is not that type of girl. She gives him a tough time until one day he kidnaps her and threatens her and forcibly marries her (Nikah). After marriage, Adeel makes her life hell in every possible way. Until one day he realizes his mistakes, but until then Gul-E-Rana is tired of giving him chances and tired of his ill-treatment towards him.

Many people criticized the ending because the makers did not clearly show their re-union. However, we were quite impressed, as it is very common that whatever the husband does, in the end wife forgives him. This is the reason, people expect that a woman should forgive her husband. Although we have no problem with their re-union. However, we liked the fact that the makers showed that Gul-E-Rana is focusing on her career and Adeel is repenting of his wrongdoing. They could be together but not this early. Sajal Aly and Feroze Khan both acted well and we really liked the drama.

Khani was another drama of an obsessive revenge story in which Hadi (Feroze Khan character) killed the female protagonist (played by Sana), brother. Later when she tries to take a stand, this son of a rich politician makes her life hell.

With the passage of time, he fell in love with her and then because of this, he again made his life hell. Later, when the love overshadows him, he is unable to feel peace and finally confessed his crime. No doubt, his acting was remarkable and millions of people watched Khani instead of the fact that there was too much misery in it.

The girl (Khani) does not fall in love with Hadi and in the end, she forgives him and he wanders here and there to find peace.

Some people did not like the drama much as makers stretched it too much. However, both actors (Sana and Feroze) acted well.

Now the third drama Ishqiya is again based on an obsessive, revenge type story and it is on air these days. Hamna and Hamza (Feroze Khan) both are college students and in a relationship. Hamna is unable to speak to her family about her relationship as her father expects them to stay away from this.

Hamna is a girl who instead of getting an education is unable to speak for her life. She definitely lies to Hamza and tries to hide her marriage. By looking at the promos, it seems that later Hamza will get revenge on Hamna by marrying her younger sister.  Although the anger of Hamza is justified however making the life of Hamna hell is definitely not justified.

No doubt, in all three dramas that we mentioned above Feroze Khan played his character really well. However, all these three characters are the same.

Although it is also a fact that the audience gets attracted to these kinds of obsessive love type stories. However, it is also a fact that through the dramas that Feroze Khan got popularity, his character is the same and it seems repetitive.

One reason can be, makers after watching some actor/actress portraying one kind of role, they offer the same kind of roles again and again to them. However, it feels good to see an actor portraying a variety of roles and make it memorable. Above all, an actor is in his negative role is appreciated more than a boring positive character.
