This is one of the Turkish historical dramas that is set in the period of 1238-1328. It revolves around a Turkish poet and mystic who influenced Turk culture. He has a great influence on Turkish literature. The story focuses on Yunus leaves his home to travel across the Ottoman Empire. He wants to become a dervish. 2: Mavera (Hace Ahmed Yesevi) (2021-present):

This is one of the Turkish historical dramas that also includes Uzbek actors. The story focuses on the life of Jalal ad-Din Mingburnu and his battle with Genghis Khan of the Mongol Empire. He also has to face a lot of difficulties from inside of the family, as his grandmother wants the throne from his father.
5: Mehmetçik Kut’ül-Amare (2018-2019):
The plot of this Turkish historical drama is in the era of the Ottoman state and it revolves around Mehmet and his friends. Mehmet has a deep love for his motherland. They can sacrifice everything to free their land. He participates in Osmancik Battalion and selects as a soldier. It also includes his love story with a girl Zeynep. Mehmet became the 36th and last Sultan of the Ottoman Empire. The actor Ismail Ege Sasmaz played the role of Mehmet. It has two seasons and 44 episodes.

6: Kurulus Osman (Osman: Founder the Ottoman Empire) (2019-present):
This Turkish historical series can also be considered as a solo series, but it is a sequel to the famous series Dirilis Ertugrul. The series is equally popular in Pakistan just like Ertugrul Ghazi. The series depicts the life of Osman after the death of his father Ertugrul. In fact, he is a born warrior who is destined to get the victory. He establishes the Ottoman Empire and reigns over it. 7: Payitaht Abdulhamid (Abdulhamid the Last Emperor) (2017-2019):
This historical series starts with the reign of Sultan Abdulhamid. The focus is on a war that resulted in the Ottoman Empire. The Sultan faced many challenges not only from inside of the state but from Russia and Britain. It also shows the rivalry between Royal women from the harem who is sen fighting for the throne for their sons or to get love. The series has 5 seasons and 154 episodes.
8: Uyanis: Uyanis Buyuk Selcuklu (The Great Seljuks: Guardians of Justice) (2020-2021):
This is one of the most famous Turkish historical dramas that broke many records. This particular show also shows the history of Turkey and it depicts the life of Seljuks. Sultan Malik Shah was the emperor at that time and later his son Ahmad Sanjar became the ruler. The battle at that time was against Hassan-i-Sabbah who was the founder of Nizari Ismailli state and his militants who as famously knows as the Order of Assassins. This Turkish historical drama is set in the 13th century and it is based on the life of Ertugrul who was the father of Osman (the founder of the Ottoman Empire). The first season is named Ertugrul and it is entirely based on the life of Ertugrul played by Engin Altan Duzyatan.

10: Muhtesem Yuzli (Magnificent Century) (2011-2014):
This is another Turkish historical drama that got so much popularity in Pakistan. On one side, the series shows the battle field and on the other side, there is a battle inside the harem to win the Sultan’s heart as well as the title of queen. There are so many strong female characters and the supremacy is of Hurram Sultan. This historical series focuses on the life of Sultan Suleiman (or of the Sultan of the Ottoman Empire) and his wife Hurrem Sultan. The cast of Muhtesem Yuzli includes Meryem Uzerli and Halit Ergenic in lead roles.
11: Muhtesem Yuzil: Kosem (The Magnificent Century: Kosem) (2015):
This is one of the Turkey period dramas that is based on the life of a slave girl who becomes the powerful woman in the history of Turkey. Kosem Sultan is a girl who is sent to the harem of Sultan Ahmed after becoming a slave. She wants to flee from the palace but fell in love with Sultan. She soon takes over the palace and replaces the queen. However, there are a lot of ups and downs and turbulence in her way and it is not easy. The series continues with lots of assassination and season 2 ends with the murder of Kosem. The famous Turkish actress Beren Saat played the role of Kosem in this Turkish tv series.
