8: Clash of the Titans (1981):
The movie plot revolves around the King of Argos who imprisons his daughter Danae because of her beauty. She gets pregnant with the son of Zeus. King banishes his daughter and her newborn son to the sea. In revenge, Zeus kills the king and calls a monster from the sea to destroy Argos. This is one of the Greek mythology movies and it was released in 1981.
7: Hercules (2014):
It is one of the Greek mythology movies and the cast includes famous name like Dwayne Johnson. It is believed that Hercules is the son of Zeus. Although from many stories it is not cleared but Hercules has unbeatable strength. There are lots of battles involving Hercules and his companions. In the movie, Hercules confronts Rhesus and Rhesus is defeated by him. Later on, he finds out that it is not Rhesus who is his real enemy. The movie was a box office hit.
6: 300: Rise of an Empire (2014):
In the Battle of Marathon, King Darius of Persia was killed by Themistocles of Athens. Darius son whose name is Xerxes is advised not to take revenge of his father’s death as only the gods can defeat the Greeks. It means they cannot be defeated. However, Darius commander says that it was a challenge by the King and now they have to take revenge and prove that they can defeat them. 300: Rise of an Empire is a 2014 American movie and it is the sequel of the movie 300.
5: Percy Jackson (2010, 2013):
In the movie, Percy Jackson is portrayed as a demigod who is the son of a mortal woman and a Greek god Poseidon. After finding it out, he goes to a training camp for the demigod( half-human, half-gods). It is a film series.
The first film was released in 2010 with the name Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Theif. The second movie released in 2013 with the name Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters.
4: Wrath of the Titans (2012):
It is a sequel to the film Clash of the Titans. The gods lose their control over Titans and Perseus is called for help who is a great hero. He is called to rescue Zeus and destroy Titans to save mankind.
3: Immortals (2011):
The movie Immortals is one of the Greek mythology movies that is based on the Greek myths of Theseus, Minotaur and the Titanomachy. Before humans were created Immortals started a war in heaven. The winners announced themselves as gods and the others was announced as Titans and Tartarus. This is a 2011 movie starring Henry Cavill in the lead role.

It is an American movie based on the 1998 comic series of the same name. The lot revolves around King Leonidas who involve in the battle against Persian God-King Xerxes. There was lots of criticism of the movie because of its historical inaccuracy.
1: Troy (2004) :
Troy is one of the most famous and the best Greek mythology movies in English. The movie is loosely based on Homer’s Illiad. The cast includes the famous actor, Brad Pitt. The movie plot revolves around the same myth of Troy when the prince of Troy fell in love with Queen Helen. The biggest war of the century starts after their affair gets revealed.
